Jay Lee Hager, 20, Auxvasse, is in Boone County Jail in Columbia after he fled from Boone County deputies Saturday and was arrested on eight criminal charges.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department reported that at 10:18 p.m. Saturday deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for multiple traffic violations near Highway 40 and Rocheport Gravel Road in Boone County.
The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit followed. The chase continued along Rocheport Gravel Road until the vehicle ran off the roadway near Tucker Collins Road and Drake Lane.
