A Fulton woman has won $100,000 playing a Missouri Lottery scratchers game, and eight other Callaway County residents won $1,000 playing other scratchers games during October.
Donna Bigsby of Fulton plans to spend some of the $100,000 she won a few days ago playing a Missouri Lottery Scratchers game.
The 34-year-old Fulton woman said her dream of buying a new home and a vehicle will now come true. Her two children also will benefit from the $100,000 prize.
"Both of my kids want bikes," Bigsby said. "So they'll both be getting those. They are really excited because they have been asking me for new bikes."
Bigsby plans to become an early childhood education teacher. She said she began to cry when she realized she had won the top prize on a "10X The Money" scratchers game.
"My kids, nieces and nephews were at my house at the time," she said. "They thought something was wrong."
