MOKANE - The state-ranked South Callaway Bulldogs will have another go-around with the Blair Oaks Falcons.
Senior wide receiver Ben Seitz and senior quarterback Konrad Kemper both scored a pair of touchdowns and No. 9 South Callaway opened the state playoffs Wednesday night with a 44-14 romp over Christian (O'Fallon) in a Class 2 regional.
The Bulldogs (10-1) - winners of four straight - scored the game's final 17 points after the Eagles (7-3) pulled within 27-14 midway through the third quarter.
South Callaway's victory will also give it another home playoff game and a second confrontation against Blair Oaks this season, this time in sectional play next Monday night. The Falcons advanced with a 48-32 regional win at Clopton-Elsberry on Wednesday night.
The Bulldogs blistered Blair Oaks 45-19 in the first week of district play Oct. 14 at Mokane.
