For the Fulton Lady Hornets soccer team, this one mattered more.
Sophomore stopper Anna Fink and junior forward Lola Weiss supplied second-half goals to break a scoreless tie and No. 2 seed Fulton's defense bottled up No. 3 Boonville in a 2-0 victory in the Class 2, District 10 semifinals Saturday.
The Lady Hornets (16-4) were able to redeem themselves after bowing to Boonville 3-2 in a North Central Missouri Conference matchup last Wednesday night in Fulton. The Lady Hornets had previously blanked the Lady Pirates 5-0 on April 1 in Boonville.
