William Woods baseball to play for AMC title

The Owls offense erupted in the first two games of the AMC postseason tournament scoring 28 runs total to advance to the tournament title game. William Woods (32-16) heads to the finals for the fourth time in school history and is looking for its first tournament championship.

The Owls, entering play as the No. 2 seed, scored three runs in the top of the 11th inning to survive against No. 5 seeded Hannibal-LaGrange 10-7 on Saturday afternoon. William Woods, down 7-2 headed into the sixth, scored the game's final eight runs, including five in the sixth to tie things up.
