Hornets ride out rocky start, rally past Mexico

Better to start bad and finish strong than the other way around.

At least that's how Fulton head coach Darren Masek saw it as his Hornets found themselves down 5-1 after one inning Friday night against the Mexico Bulldogs.

Mind you, this is the same team that spotted the Marshall Owls a 10-0, first-inning lead on April 14 and went on to stage a wild comeback, winning 12-11 in eight innings.

So five runs - not a big deal.
