A family here is now homeless after their home was destroyed by fire early Saturday morning. Authorities have ruled the fire as arson.
The Holts Summit Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 5:06 a.m. Saturday on Brad Drive, with assistance from the Missouri State Fire Marshall, who ruled the fire as arson. Although five members of the family were home at the time of the blaze, all of them escaped without injury. The Capital Area Chapter of the Red Cross provided emergency assistance.
