The musical selection's at the Callaway County Fair will have a very local flavor when festivities kick off Aug. 1. The Budweiser main stage will feature five such acts over six nights with two of the groups being from right here in Fulton.

Prairie Tide will hold court on stage starting at 6 p.m. Monday and 8 p.m. on Tuesday. The band is fronted by Pastor Don Daniels, an avid singer who will sing songs to the tune of older country and rock and roll numbers but with Christian lyrics. The songs will be parodies a la Weird Al Yankovic.
