NoCal expects to have $500K bond surplus

KINGDOM CITY - As the $2.5 million bond projects wrap up for North Callaway School District, the administration can determine how much funding is left over. About $500,000 is the expected amount that remains after the original bond projects are complete.

Superintendent Bryan Thomsen said the projects should all be complete before the next school board meeting on July 21. During that meeting, the board will discuss what additional projects to undertake with the remaining money.

Board President Dan McMurtry said it was pleasant news to hear at Thursday's board meeting that the district would be able to accomplish more than originally planned.
