Fulton club wins own 28th Wrestling Classic

Featuring 17 individual champions, the Fulton Parks and Rec Wrestling Club captured the team title in its own 28th-annual Fulton Wrestling Classic last Saturday at Fulton High School's Roger D. Davis Gymnasium.

Fulton took first place, followed by Columbia in second and Mexico third. Club wrestlers competed in more than 230 matches.

Winning weight classes in their respective age divisions for Fulton were Dylan Pearson, Bradley Holsman, Jadon Henry, Dustin Loucks, Tucker Caswell, Jackson Caswell (twice), Chad Maupin, Milo Henry, Andy Baysinger, Luke Berrey, Isaiah Pani, Brandon Dews, Trenton Clines, Matthew Breeden, Austin Anderson and Clayton Bristol.

Second-place finishers included Evan Dews, Grant Avery, Q Gibson, Eston Dews, Owen Uhls, Seth Gilbert, Paige Clines, Braden Leibengood, Keaton Rice, Dawson Wright, Julian Schoening, Michael Carlin, Dennis Kingsley and Isaiah Pani.

Earning third-place finishes were Eli Henry, Sheldon Russell, Nicholas Laire, Joseph Barkho, Aaron Pearson, Sam Hrabovsky, Grant Wright, Joshua Dunmire, Jacob Kern, Peyton Dunkel, Colton Bristol, Zoey Hrabovsky, Jared Strough, Kobe Kaminski and Trevor Dunmire.

Fourth-place finishers included Brenton Shirley, Danny Williams, James Bodenhorn, Jaren Kern, Sam Wood, Tommy Kingsley, Brendan Holsman and Dominique Ford. Posting fifth-place finishes were Wyatt Wilfley, Dalton Campbell, Connor Russell, Samuel Kauffman and Jacob Kauffman. Devin Albers and Skylar Kaminski both finished sixth.
