New Bloomfield Wildcats boys' basketball coach Tyler Clark has stepped down from that position effective immediately. Clark cited "family health problems" as the reason for leaving the job that he has held for a little more than one season.

Clark will be replaced by New Bloomfield head baseball coach Brandon Talbot, who will remain in that position at least rest of the season, the school's athletic director Julie Trammell said Thursday night. Clark will remain with the school as a teacher.
