Ladybirds trample Wellsville, pick up fourth straight victory

KINGDOM CITY - Sophomore guard Jaida Gray connected for a game-high 19 points, including three 3-pointers, to help power the surging North Callaway Ladybirds to a 60-29 romp over Wellsville on Thursday night.

Gray was one of three players to reach double figures for North Callaway (6-1), winners of four in a row. The Ladybirds took a 35-19 lead into halftime and turned the game into a runaway by outscoring Wellsville 14-1 in the third quarter to open up a 49-20 advantage.
