Two New Bloomfield residents were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in Jefferson City.
According to police reports, the accident occurred at 2:34 p.m. in the 200 block of East Dunklin Street.
William Symes, 88, Jefferson City, was going west on Dunklin, approaching Madison Street.
Terri Holland, 49, New Bloomfield, was stopped at a traffic light in the westbound lanes of Dunklin.
Symes told officers his foot slipped off the brake and onto the accelerator.
His vehicle collided with the rear of Holland's vehicle, pushing it through the intersection and both vehicles stopped in the 100 block of East Dunklin.
