Parade watchers may spot some well-known figures leading the Callaway Christmas parades this year.

Both Fulton and Holts Summit chose the same hometown hero to honor by dubbing him grand marshal - Tyler Huffman. New Bloomfield decided to recognize three individuals who serve the school district - David Tramel, superintendent; Susan Dockery, high/junior high school principal; and Julie Gerloff, elementary school principal.

Fulton's parade is up first. Huffman will lead the way as grand marshal when the parade sets off at 1 p.m. Saturday from the circle drive of the Fulton State Hospital and work its way downtown. The theme of this year's Fulton Jaycees Annual Christmas Parade was chosen in honor of Huffman.
