Two arrested after Callaway chases

Two people were arrested in separate chase incidents by law enforcement officers after recent vehicle pursuits in Callaway County.

Dalton J. Wilfley, 18, Fulton, is free on $5,000 total bond after he wrecked his vehicle while fleeing from law enforcement officers in Callaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Wilfley on a felony charge of resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated, speeding, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.

The patrol reported Wilfley was chased by law enforcement officers eastbound on Route F at County Road 219 just west of Fulton at 11:18 p.m. Thursday. Wilfley attempted to make a left turn, causing his 2001 Isuzu to run off the road and strike a tree.

Callaway County deputies reported Wilfley's bond was $500 on the driving-while-intoxicated charge and $4,500 on the felony resisting arrest charge.

In another unrelated chase Sunday afternoon, Callaway County deputies were investigating a report of a theft and attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Reanna Wilson, 21, Raytown, Mo.

At 4:40 p.m. Callaway County deputies requested assistance from the Boone County Sheriff's Department with the pursuit that had entered Boone County.

The pursuit ended at a residence in the 1300 block of Purdy Lane in Boone County.

Deputies from both counties tracked Wilson to the residence. They apprehended Wilson as she was attempting to leave through an attached garage.

Boone County deputies learned Wilson had an active warrants for her arrest. They arrested her for failure to appear in court in Caldwell County and for burglary second degree. Her cash only bond was set at $821.94 on the failure to appear charge and $4,500 for the burglary charge.

Wilson is held in Boone County Jail.
