NoCal goes ahead with new bond projects

KINGDOM CITY - Board members got the ball rolling on some new projects for the district at the North Callaway Board of Education meeting Thursday evening.

With about $500,000 left over from the district's original bond money, the board was able to earmark the funds for some additional needed projects. Superintendent Bryan Thomsen presented the board with bids on four different projects members had previously determined to go ahead with.

Members approved a $23,832 bid from Eskew Mechanical out of Columbia for new walk-in freezers for Hatton-McCredie Elementary and Williamsburg Elementary schools.
