Central Missourians have been asked to nominate someone they know who will be honored as a hometown hero.
Crane's Country Store at Williamsburg has teamed up with Case Knife Co. in a promotion to honor hometown heroes on Saturday.
"Case does various events each year. This year for the first time they chose a theme of honoring hometown heroes," said David Crane, owner of Crane's Country Store.
To help the tornado-stricken people of Dumas and surroundings, donations can be made to the Delta Area Disaster Relief Fund, care of the Delta Area Community Foundation, P.O. Box 894, Dumas, AR, 71639, or through the Arkansas Community Foundation, 700 S. Rock St., Little Rock, AR, 72202.
