Students at the New Bloomfield R-3 School District had higher state assessment test scores than last year overall but failed to reach test scores attained by other area schools, preliminary state test results reveal.
Most schools in the state failed to meet federal requirements for adequate yearly progress but most are showing improvement.
Test results from the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) announced Thursday are not final and can be appealed to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education by individual school districts.
The overall New Bloomfield School District showed improvement, especially in elementary school test results.
