There are plenty of places to eat in Callaway County. But Bill Nigus envisioned something more than just another place to go and grab a bite.
"We originally wanted to have a unique environment where people could go and feel like they had an experience rather than going to get a meal," Nigus, a pastor at Central Christian Church, said. "A meal is great and you can go and get it just about everywhere but we wanted to have something they could experience."
That experience turned into JC's, a restaurant that Nigus, along with his wife DeAnne and congregation members Jerry and Nina Hollan, officially opened earlier this week. It is one of two restaurants - along with Mexican joint El Vaquero - which opened in Fulton this summer, giving patrons a couple more options to mull when thinking of where to have dinner.
