Two elected to Kingdom City Board of Trustees

Betty Redmon and Michelle Lew Miller were elected Tuesday to the Kingdom City Board of Trustees.

Three candidates sought two positions as members of the Kingdom City Board of Trustees. The two with the most votes were the winners.

Winners were incumbent Miller, who had served one term, and Redmon, who was appointed to the board after the death last year of former board member Vernon VanEngelenhoven.

James Gravemann, a former member of the board who served several years ago, finished last.

Miller received 15 votes, Redmon tallied 19 votes, and Gravemann had 5 votes.

Voters selected two of the three candidates for two-year terms.
