Two arrested for Bob's Car Wash burglary

Two Fulton residents were taken into custody Tuesday for their suspected involvement in a burglary at Bob's Car Wash on Sept. 22.

Matthew Day, 20, and Briar Davis, 17, were arrested after a search warrant executed at the residence the pair was staying at on Ann Street in Fulton led to the recovery of property and money from the car wash.

According to FPD Lt. Lyla Robbins, Day and Davis are suspected of having forced entry into Bob's Car Wash at 333 Highway Z in Fulton and taking money, computer equipment, video surveillance equipment and other items.

Asked what led to Day and Davis becoming suspects, Robbins simply responded, "investigation and hard work."

She said officers had no trouble taking the pair into custody.

Both Day and Davis are charged with second degree burglary, first degree property damage and stealing property valued at over $500.
