News Tribune photographers recorded festivities in Jefferson City surrounding Republican Eric Greitens' inauguration as Missouri's 56th governor.

Greitens took the oath of office outside the state Capitol building. He was flanked by his wife and two children, accompanied by their grandparents.

Greitens replaces term-limited Democratic Gov. Jay Nixon.
