TEBBETTS, Mo. - A Jefferson City man was charged this week for an Aug. 28 theft, according to the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.
Gregory Anderson, 54, faces two counts of felony stealing and two counts of domestic assault, in addition to misdemeanor resisting arrest.
The charges result from a criminal investigation that took place in the 12000 block of County Road 4021 in the Tebbetts/Wainwright area Aug. 28. A deputy was called to the scene of a domestic disturbance involving Anderson. Anderson fled on foot when the deputy arrived, according to the CCSO.
Deputies and Missouri Highway Patrol troopers spent several hours searching for Anderson before determining he'd left the area. He was later arrested in Cole County and transferred to the Callaway County Jail.
Anderson's bond has been set at $15,000.
