DIXIE - A Hermann man and a Tebbetts woman were arrested Friday for meth delivery near Dixie, according to the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies conducted a suspicious activity investigation at 11:54 a.m. near County Road 456 and Route PP in the Dixie area. During the course of the investigation, deputies came into contact with Russell Mars, 55, and Lee Ann McGowan, 35. Deputies also recovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Mars was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail for delivery of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
Mars later posted an $8,000 bond and was released.
McGowan was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail for delivery of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
McGowan was also booked/processed for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
McGowan's bond was set at $8,500.
