Thunderbirds take top honors

The North Callaway Student Council sent six delegates to the Missouri Association of Student Council's State Convention on March 7 at Lindberg High School in St. Louis.

In addition, the NCHS Student Council was awarded the highest state award: Honor Council - Gold Level. The criterion for this award includes exemplary participation in school service, spirit, community service, student and teacher recognition, and leadership training.

The State Convention hosted more than 1,000 students and advisors from across the state. Throughout the three-day convention, students and advisors attended meetings and discussion forums designed to improve their councils with more student and community involvement.
