STEEDMAN - A Fulton man's arrest led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle Thursday.
At 10:09 a.m., Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted a criminal investigation in the 800 block of Robbie's Road near Steedman. While investigating, deputies recovered a vehicle reported stolen in Mexico and seized methamphetamine-related drug paraphernalia.
Deputies arrested Richard Smith Jr. for first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and a Callaway County traffic warrant.
Smith was taken to the Callaway County Jail and his bond set at $5,000.
