A Williamsburg man was charged Saturday with the felony offense of failure to register as a sex offender/third or more offense.
Deputies arrested Joey Laswell, 48, of Williamsburg, as a result of a criminal investigation conducted by the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.
After his arrest, Laswell transported to the Callaway County Jail. He posted a $4,500 bond set by the court.
Laswell was convicted in a 1998 accusation of second degree child molestation.
