Q. What was your first job?

A. Working at the Callaway Raceway here in town serving food.

Q. Who most inspires you?

A. My mother. I'm sure that's a common one (laughs). Because she's a very strong woman and she was in education, as well as has always supported me no matter what.

Q. What have you done in life that was most fulfilling?

A. Having my daughter, Ellie.

Q. What is something that you are proud of that you have been recognized for?

A. I arranged a composition of "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen shortly after he passed and the Callaway Singers performed it at their concert. So that was pretty amazing.

Q. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt?

A. I mean, I love what I do, but probably if I could be a stay-at-home mom/private music teacher, that would be amazing.

Q. What profession would you not like to do?

A. Be a politician. It's not because I don't like them, I just have no desire to do it myself.

Q. What is something that nobody knows about you?

A. That I actually like to have time to myself. I have a pretty "go, go, go" lifestyle so a lot of people think I like to be out doing stuff all of the time but I'm kind of a homebody.

Q. What is your favorite thing about Callaway County?

A. I guess because I'm from here I feel like it's a part of my history and I get to add to it every day, either by where I live or where I work. I just like making the town that much more historic to me and my family.
