3 arrested during recent patrols

A series of patrols and investigations Tuesday and Wednesday led to three arrests for the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.

A deputy conducted a suspicious activity investigation at 12:06 a.m. Wednesday on County Road 1005 in Williamsburg. The deputy came into contact with Michael Trial, 22, of Monett. Trial was a wanted fugitive from Lawrence County on a charge of felony possession of stolen property.

Trial was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail. He is being held without bond pending transfer to Lawrence County.

Deputies, assisted by the Missouri Highway Patrol, investigated a disturbance at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday at a business in the 3000 block of Gold Road in Kingdom City.

Deputies subsequently arrested Charles Thomas, 58, of Robinsville, North Carolina, for felony assault, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a weapon. Thomas was transported to the Callaway County Jail and later released on bond pending a court appearance.

Separately, deputies arrested Holliann Crow, 24, of Fulton, at 10:49 p.m. for the felony offenses of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest. Crow attempted to flee deputies at the time of arrest, according to the arrest report.

The arrest followed an earlier investigation into a vehicle reported stolen in the area of County Road 108 near Route Z, east of Fulton. The vehicle was later recovered. Crow was booked at the Callaway County Jail and remained in custody as of Wednesday.
