AUXVASSE, Mo. - It's time for Callaway County's youth to show their skills in animal husbandry, archery, baking and more.

The annual Callaway County Youth Expo is Tuesday through Saturday at the Auxvasse Lions Club Park. Members of youth organizations including Girl and Boy Scouts, 4-H and FFA will compete in a vast variety of competitions. The week culminates in a livestock sale, where the participants' hard work in raising their animals literally pays off.

The public is encouraged to spectate and join in public events like a movie night and dance. A food stand will be open Wednesday through Saturday.

Here's the full schedule of events. For more information, visit callawayyouthexpo.com or call 573-642-0755.
