Man arrested, charged with meth possession

HOLTS SUMMIT, Mo. ­- A New Bloomfield man was charged with a felony after he was arrested Saturday near Holts Summit.

Gage Trammell, 23, was arrested by Callaway County deputies investigating a suspicious activity incident at 3:42 p.m. in the 11000 block of County Road 391. Deputies came into contact there with Trammell and reported he was in possession of meth, leading to his arrest.

He was charged Sunday by the Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney Office. He was placed in the county jail and has a court-set bond of $4,500.

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office continues to work with other law enforcement agencies and community partners to curb criminal activity around the county, which activity is many times related to the manufacture, sale, and/or possession of drugs.
