A Fulton woman was charged Sunday with felonies relating to drug possession.
Callaway County Sheriff's Office officials said Brittany Sumner, 29, has been charged with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance (meth). She also was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and stealing. She was placed in the county jail on a bond of $10,000.
These charges are the result of a stealing and drug investigation Sunday conducted by deputies in the 3000 block of Backer Drive, just outside of Fulton. During the investigation, Sumner was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property.
Sumner was arrested by deputies at the scene and transported to the Callaway County Jail. The Fulton Police Department assisted with the investigation.
