The Maries County Sheriff's Office issued the alert after an incident that occurred at 32498 Maries County Road 213 at 1:40 p.m. on Thursday.

Authorities said Alison Summerford, a white female, 22, is five months pregnant. She and her boy, Dominque Summerford, who is 10-11 months old, were abducted at gunpoint from her residence and are possibly en route to the Arkansas area.

A post on the Maries County sheriff's Facebook page named a possible suspect, but the Missouri State Highway Patrol issued a release describing the suspect as unknown, "... white or Hispanic, male, black hair and black beard, wearing a tee shirt with dragon."

The vehicle in question is described as a dark colored GMC or Chevrolet pickup, last seen going towards Vienna. The vehicle had four tires in the bed of the pickup.
