Equine Hoof Health Clinic to be in Fulton

Horse owners can learn about basic hoof care and maintenance at University of Missouri Extension's upcoming Equine Hoof Health Clinic at 10 a.m. May 4, at the Callaway County Extension office meeting room.

Topics include basics on hoof health and anatomy, disease prevention, and a live hoof trimming demonstration. This clinic will provide horse owners with a better understanding of general maintenance of their horses' hoof and prevention of disease and structural breakdown. Speakers include Anita Ellis, livestock specialist, Dr. Lyndsey Hayden, MU Veterinary Health Center, and Bruce Douglass, farrier.
