On Wednesday morning, Kingdom Christian Academy celebrated See You At the Pole, led by KCA Student Council.

Because there was no flagpole available at the school's new location, the Fulton Fire Department saved the day by bringing one of its fire trucks and mounting a flag atop it, making the event even more special.

See You at the Pole is a national movement of student-initiated, student-organized and student-led prayer rallies. The event grew from its roots in Burleson, Texas, in 1990 where a group of students met at the flagpole in front of their school to pray for leaders, schools and friends. The idea caught on and grew.

Today, as many as 3 million students in 20 different countries meet before school on the fourth Wednesday of September to lift up friends, families, teachers, schools and nations in prayer.

Kingdom Christian Academy staff and students were honored to have many parents and grandparents in attendance as they celebrated Grandparents Day and See You at the Pole.
