Deputies arrest three in separate incidents

Callaway County Sheriff's officials made several arrests this week.

On Thursday at 8:48 a.m., Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies were conducting proactive patrols of the Williamsburg and Shamrock area. During the patrol, deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of County Road 1022 and County Road 1034 for a traffic violation. During the course of the traffic stop investigation, deputies identified Monica Deroy, 38, of Montgomery City as a vehicle passenger.

Deroy was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Deroy was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance (Meth) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Deroy was transported to the Callaway County Jail where she was booked/processed. Deroy later posted a court-set bond of $4,500 and was released pending court appearance.

On Wednesday, a Branson man, Dominick Savino, 59, was arrested after deputies responded to a business in the 5700 block of Jane Road. Savino was wanted for parole violations. Deputies took Savino into custody without incident and took him to Callaway County Jail. He will be returned to the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Also on Wednesday at 5:33 p.m., a deputy spotted and arrested a wanted fugitive while on patrol on Route JJ near Calwood. Joseph Byrd, 30, of Fulton, was seen on foot near a residence. Byrd was wanted on Callaway County warrants for felony stealing and felony possession of a controlled substance. Byrd was taken into custody without incident and taken to jail to be booked. he later posted a court-set bond of $6,000 and was released.

On Monday, a deputy was patrolling the Kingdom City area. A traffic stop was conducted at 12:49 p.m. near State Road FF and County Road 240 just outside of Kingdom City.

The vehicle driver, Christopher Bigsby, 20, of Kingdom City, was found to be in possession of narcotics based items. Bigsby was subsequently arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail. Bigsby was booked/processed for felony possession of a controlled substance. Bigsby later posted a court-set bond of $4,500 and was released pending court appearance.
