Katy Trail State Park hosts informational meeting

MARTHASVILLE, Mo. The Katy Trail State Park hosts an annual informational meeting about the mid-eastern section of the trail 1-2 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Treloar Trailhead, Marthasville.

The public is invited to share comments about the park and its operations. Park staff will be on hand to provide information and to answer questions.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.

The Katy Trail State Park Treloar Trailhead is located at mile marker 84.8. For more information about the meeting, call the park at 573-449-7402.
