The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the Callaway County area from Monday to July 20.
Guard cable installation on the eastbound and westbound U.S. 54 from Holts Summit to Route HH in Fulton and bridge rehabilitation work on the eastbound U.S. 54 bridge over Stinson Creek are in progress. One eastbound lane of U.S. 54 will be closed through the work area. These traffic impacts are scheduled until the end of July.
Route A between Interstate 70 and Route B - Pavement patching will take place Monday through July 19. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route B between U.S. 54 and the Montgomery County line - Pavement patching will take place Monday through Thursday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route D between Missouri 94 and Route O - Pavement patching will take place Monday through July 19. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route E between Route DD and Old U.S. 54 -Roadway resurfacing will begin Wednesday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays. MoDOT reminds motorists to buckle up, slow down, follow posted signs and drive safely through work areas.
