Garry Melton joins The Callaway Bank as VP

Garry Melton has recently joined The Callaway Bank team as a vice president and commercial/ag lender. His primary responsibilities are to develop and service commercial banking relationships in the Callaway and Audrain markets.

"Garry's extensive knowledge and lending experience, both in commercial and ag, are right in line with the Bank's dedication to serving our clients and communities well," said Paul Craghead, senior vice president.

Melton earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia where he focused on agronomy, ag economics and animal science. His experience in ag and commercial lending expands over the past 30 years with the past 23 years primarily in the Martinsburg and Mexico areas.

Kim Barnes, president and CEO also added, "We are very pleased to have Garry join The Callaway Bank team because his commitment to service, his analytical skills, and his consultative approach fit our bank and our client base very well."

Over the years, he has been a supporter of the United Way, Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Mexico Agri Business Board, 4-H and the Audrain Extension Council. He is currently active with the Missouri Society of Farm Managers Rural Appraisers and the Mexico United Methodist Church.

Melton and his wife, Kristy, live in Mexico and have three sons: Cody, Kade and Jared. His office will be at the bank located on the corner of Court and Fifth streets in Fulton's historic Brick District.
