WILLIAMSBURG, Mo. — A Williamsburg man was arrested May 10 in connection with a stolen trailer, said Lt. Curtis Hall of the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.

Chad Laswell, 27, was arrested for felony stealing.

On April 11, CCSO deputies recovered an enclosed trailer that had been reported to the Mexico Public Safety Department as stolen in early November. Hall said deputies found the trailer near Seminole Road and O'Keefe Ridge Road in the Kingdom of Callaway Estates area outside Williamsburg.

After conducting a follow-up investigation, deputies arrested Laswell, Hall said. He was taken to the Callaway County Jail, where he later posted a court-set bond of $4,500.
