Troopers make arrests in Callaway this week

Missouri Highway Patrol troopers reported it arrested Casey L. Rains, 29, a Holts Summit woman, at 11:46 a.m. March 15.

Rains was arrested in Miller County for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to signal. She was taken to the Miller County jail.

Troopers also arrested a Portland man at 7:20 a.m. Friday in Montgomery County. Kerie A. Potts was charged with possession of up to 10 grams of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and released.

A Wooster, Ohio man was arrested at 11:38 p.m. Thursday in Callaway County. David W. Walters II, 38, was charged with possession of marijuana (11-35 grams) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and released.

David J. Hoellering, 19, of Jefferson City, was arrested in Callway County at 5:11 p.m. March 15. Hoellering was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and taken to the Callaway County Jail.

Patrick J. Holland, 21, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was arrested at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday in Callaway County along with two others. Holland was charged with possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic marijuana (Adderal, Diazepam, amphetamine/Dextroamphetamine, and Alprazolam). He was placed in the county jail.

Jackson P. Hyde, 20, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, was also arrested and charged with possesson of marijuana (11-35 grams) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on citations.

And Evan J. Patrick, 21, of Chattanooga was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and released on summons.

Andrew S. Hall, 42, of Columbia, was arrested by troopers at 10:17 p.m. Monday in Callaway County on a misdemeanor warrant from Jefferson County (driving while suspended) and charged again with driving while suspended, plus unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the county jail.

Troopers also reported a minor injury accident at 7 p.m. Friday on eastbound Interstate 70 in Callaway County, near the 142 mile marker. A 1995 Olds Cierra driven by Pamela J. Oetting, 58, of Vandalia struck unknown objects and crossed into the center of the highway and into the median cables. A 2017 GMC Sierra driven by Justin A. Colbert, 32, of Troy, was struck by debris. Oetting received minor injuries and was transported to Fulton Medical Center by ambulance. Both vehicles were damaged.
