NCHS sends delegates to Student Council convention

<p>On March 8th, North Callaway Student Council sent six delegates to the Missouri Association of Student Council’s State Convention held at Lebanon High School in Lebanon. The State Convention hosts over 1,000 students and advisors from across the state. Throughout the three day convention, students and advisors attended meetings and discussion forums designed to improve their councils with more student and community involvement. In addition, the NCHS Student Council was awarded the highest state award: Honor Council – Gold Level. The criterion for this award includes exemplary participation in school service, spirit, community service, student and teacher recognition, and leadership training. Attending this convention is especially important for the growth and improvement of the student council. Missouri has one of the top state associations in the nation and one of the top summer programs (hosted in June at William Woods University). Each year, North Callaway prides itself on sending delegates to both State Convention and to the summer camp in Fulton.
