A Kingdom City man was arrested Friday on drug charges after falling asleep in a parked truck, said Sgt. Lance Reams, of the Fulton Police Department.

Kenneth McClure, 39, faces charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, four counts of felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

At 9:20 a.m., police responded to the 700 block of West 7th Street after being informed that a truck had been parked there, running, since 6 a.m. Police were also told a man was sleeping in the driver's seat, Reams said.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with McClure. Reams said McClure was found to be in possession of a large amount of methamphetamine, cocaine, felony amounts of marijuana, Xanax pills, a large amount of money and other drug paraphernalia items related to the sale of narcotics.

McClure was taken to the Callaway County Jail and his bond set at $24,500.
