Zachary Dain Rice, 22, and Wendell Mark Belisle, 28, were arrested Tuesday after breaking into Fulton High School the previous day.

Two Fulton men were arrested Tuesday in connection with the Friday night burglary of Fulton High School, according to Lt. Dall Hedges of the Fulton Police Department.

Zachary Dain Rice, 22, and Wendell Mark Belisle, 28, each face charges of second-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree property damage and second-degree trespassing. Rice was also arrested for forgery.

Earlier Tuesday, police sought public help in identifying the two men. On Monday, police received a report of a burglary at FHS, according to Detective Brandi Mintle.

Security camera footage from Friday night showed two white male subjects walking through the building after entering by breaking a window. The burglary took place at 9:42 p.m., Mintle said.

She described one suspect as heavyset, wearing shorts, black shoes with white soles and a long-sleeved zip-up, hooded jacket with no shirt underneath. The other man was slimmer and wore a black shirt with white writing and blue jeans.

"At this time, it is undetermined if anything was taken (from the school)," Mintle added.

The first man was identified as Belisle, who turned himself in at the Callaway County Sheriff's Office, Hedges said. The second man, Rice, did the same.

As of Tuesday evening, Rice was being held on no bond and Belisle's bond had been set at $6,000 cash or surety, Hedges added.
