Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers reported the following recent car crashes and arrests:
July 9, 10:35 a.m. on Route HH at County Road 230. A 2008 Honda Accord driven by Reanna M. Pitts, 34, of Fulton, was destroyed after it crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head on. The second vehicle, a 2014 Ford 150 truck driven by Marilyn G. Loutzenhiser, 73, of Auxvasse, also was destroyed and she sustained moderate injuries and was taken to University Hospital.
July 7, 11:36 a.m. on South Rock Creek Road near Nature Lane in Cole County. A 1994 Chevrolet LLV Mail Carrier driven by Michelle A. Coon, 43, of Holts Summit, went off the right side of the road and then overturned as the driver sought to correct back onto the road. She received minor injuries.
July 5, 7:50 p.m. on eastbound U.S. 54 near Addison Avenue in Callaway County. A 2003 Harley Davidson RoadKing driven by Michael A. Thompson, 63, of Jefferson City, was stopped in traffice when it was side swiped by a 2012 Harley Davidson Ultra driven by Richard L. Nelson, 69, also of Jefferson City. Nelson and a passenger Eileen M. Scrivner, 70 of Jefferson City, were taken to University Hospital with moderate injuries. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
July 9, 6 p.m. in Montgomery County. Fabrina R. Amburn, 35, of Fulton, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia (methamphetamine x2) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Amburn was placed in the Montgomery County Jail.
July 8, 7:31 p.m. in Callaway County. Lynne M. Watson, 43, of Manchester was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and placed in the Miller County Jail.
July 8, 6:37 a.m. in Callaway County. Tiffany T. Lewis, 35, of Jefferson City was arrested on a Cole County misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear/original charge for assault, and placed in the Callaway County Jail.
July 7, 12:50 p.m. in Audrain County. Roxanne L. Wheeler, 55, of Fulton, was arrested and charged with felony operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, and displaying plates from another vehicle. Wheeler was placed in the Audrain County Jail.
July 6, 1:51 p.m. in Callaway County. Daniel L. Himes, 28, of Columbia, was arrested and charged with driving while introxicated (alcohol) and failure to drive on the right side of the road resulting in a crash. Himes was placed in the Callaway County Jail.
