Fulton woman arrested on six warrants

A Fulton woman was arrested Wednesday morning after a report about suspicious activity was made to Fulton police.

Courtney M. Hutchason, 29, was approached by police at 8:37 a.m. on Pioneer Drive. A check of Hutchason's status showed she had five felony Callaway County warrants for probation violations and stealing a motor vehicle with a bond of $24,500. She also had a Boone County felony warrant for probation violation with a $10,000 bond.

When the FPD officer attempted to take her into custody, Hutchason ran away. She was arrested after a short foot chase through several back yards.

She was additionally charged with felony resisting arrest. Hutchason was placed in the Callaway County Jail with a  bond of $39,000.

In July 2016, Hutchason was arrested following a report of a stolen 2001 Chevrolet Blazer from a residential driveway near Mokane. Callaway County Sheriff's deputies reported the SUV was unlocked and the keys were inside. The vehicle was found the next day in Centralia.

At that time, Hutchason was also wanted on a Callaway County warrant for tampering with a motor vehicle and driving while revoked.

In September 2017, she failed to appear in court and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
