Fulton man arrested near Fulton Middle School

A Fulton man was arrested Wednesday following a search at a residence near Fulton Middle School, said Lt. Curtis Hall of the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.

Reginald Wainwright, 30, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, heroin, and maintaining a public nuisance.

At 2:35 p.m. Wednesday, sheriff's office deputies executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of East 10th street. The search warrant was obtained as part of a drug investigation by the sheriff's office.

As a result of the investigation, Wainwright was arrested. The Fulton Police Department's Special Response Unit and the Drug Task Force aided the search warrant execution.

Wainwright was transported to the Callaway County Jail ,and his bond was set at $6,500.
