Callaway County roads are busy with contruction work this week.

On U.S. 54, between Interstate 70 and Route J, guardrail installation in the east and westbound lanes continues, making turns onto and off the road more complicated. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open in the work area, according to MoDOT officials.

Also, road resurfacing continues on Route B between U.S. 54 and the Montgomery County line. One lane is open, and crews and a pilot car is guiding traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in October.

In Fulton, work on Business 54 between East U.S. 54 and West U.S. 54 continues with sidewalk and ADA improvements. Expect continued lane closures and crews flagging traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in December.
