Author David Collins, a speaker last week at Westminster College's Hancock Symposium, had a book signing at Playhouse Bistro on Saturday.
His recent book, 'Accidential Activists: Mark Phariss, Vic Holmes, and Their Fight for Marriage Equality in Texas,' has taken a first place at the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference.
During the 40 years Collins taught at Westminster College, he published more than 15 scholarly essays, most about Shakespeare and other medieval and Renaissance writers.
