VFW members tout organization

Members of VFW Post 2657 set up a table Monday outside Walmart in Fulton to educate passersby about the organization.

According to chaplain Dave Coleman, many people stopped by to learn about the benefits of membership. "We've had several with the possibility of enrollment," he said.

Coleman was enthusiastic about the possibility of others becoming involved with the VFW and the VFW Auxiliary. He and District 9 Commander Charles Williams also had information about new laws affecting veterans.
